Junk Removal Prices in Temecula: What It Actually Costs
Junk removal prices in Temecula start at $195 and top out at $595 for a full 12-yard load. Loading labor, fuel, and landfill disposal are all baked in, so the number Weston quotes you over text is the number you pay when the trailer pulls away.
Wild West Junk Removal Pricing
Pricing is based on how much of the trailer your junk fills, not on a clock. A full load is 12 cubic yards in a 12ft by 8ft by 4ft dump trailer, which is roughly five to six full-size pickup beds. Pick the closest fraction below and we confirm the exact size on site before anyone lifts anything.
Loading labor, fuel, and landfill disposal fees are all included in every price. One load is 12 cubic yards in a 12ft by 8ft by 4ft dump trailer.
Why we quote before we lift
A couch from a second-floor Redhawk condo and a garage full of construction debris in Wolf Creek can look like the same pile in a photo and price out very differently once weight is involved. That is why the crew gives you a firm number on site before touching anything. No meter running, no surprise add-ons at the curb.
What the Price Covers, and What It Doesn't
The number you are quoted is the number you pay. It covers the crew doing the carrying, the fuel to get there and get to the landfill, and the tipping fee at the other end. There is no stair charge, no long-carry charge, no fuel surcharge, and no disposal fee added at the curb once your junk is already on the trailer.
The honest exception is weight. Concrete, dirt, roofing tile, and similar dense material cost more to tip than a trailer of furniture does, because landfills bill by the ton. If your load is mostly that, the price can move, and we tell you that on site before we start rather than after we finish. The only other thing we will not do is take hazardous material. Paint, solvents, motor oil, pool chemicals, propane, and asbestos have to go through Riverside County's free household hazardous waste program, and no price gets us around that.
Everything else is fair game. If you want the full list before you book, our what we take and don't take page spells it out.

40-Yard Dumpster Rental
For larger cleanouts, remodels, and contractor jobs where you would rather load at your own pace, we rent 40-yard roll-off dumpsters. We carry the 40-yard size only. It is the workhorse for whole-home cleanouts and Temecula Valley renovation debris, and it is the size that actually makes sense to haul out here.
| Dumpster | Included | Typical Price |
|---|---|---|
| 40-yard roll-off | Delivery, pickup, and disposal for standard debris | $900 to $950 |
Heavy material such as concrete, dirt, or roofing tile may carry a different rate. Call for an exact quote before you book.
Not sure whether you want a dumpster or a crew? If you have the time and the labor, the dumpster is usually the cheaper path per cubic yard. If you want it gone today without touching any of it, a load is faster and there is nothing sitting in your driveway for a week. More detail on the dumpster rental page.

What Is a Cubic Yard?
Picture a box the size of a large refrigerator carton, where every side is three feet long. That is a cubic yard: three feet wide, three feet deep, three feet tall, or 27 cubic feet of space. It is the standard way junk haulers, landscapers, and concrete crews all measure volume, which is why we price in it.
Knowing roughly how many cubic yards your pile takes up helps you land on the right load size before you call. To estimate a space yourself, measure its length, width, and height in feet, multiply the three numbers together, and divide by 27. A pile four feet wide, four feet deep, and three feet high works out to just under two cubic yards, comfortably inside a quarter load.
Odd-shaped piles and uneven stacking make this an estimate rather than an exact science, which is the other reason we confirm the real size on site. If you would rather not do the math, a photo text gets you the same answer faster.
How to Estimate Your Load in Under a Minute
Four steps, in order. The last one is the only one that gets you a real number.
Group it
Pull everything you want gone into one spot so you can see the whole pile at once. Junk scattered across three rooms always looks smaller than it is.
Count pickup beds
A full-size pickup bed holds about 2 to 2.5 cubic yards. One Wild West full load equals roughly five to six of those beds.
Match the fraction
Use the table above. 3.5 yards is a quarter load, 7 is a half, 10.5 is three-quarters, and 12 is a full load.
Text a photo
Send it to (951) 837-8072 and Weston confirms the size and an exact price, usually within minutes. This is the step that turns an estimate into a number you can hold us to.
Why Junk Removal Costs What It Costs
People are often surprised that hauling a couch costs more than a tank of gas, so here is where the money actually goes. Roughly a third of any load price is the disposal itself. Landfills bill by the ton at the gate, and Riverside County publishes those rates openly, along with a surcharge for uncovered loads. You can see the current gate fees on the county's routine waste page. Nobody hauling legally gets around that number.
The rest is labor, the truck, the insurance, and the sorting. We pull donations and recyclables out of the load before it gets tipped, which costs us time and saves you nothing directly, but it is the reason the tonnage going in the hole keeps shrinking. California's diversion targets, set by CalRecycle, are the reason that sorting is not optional for anyone doing this properly.
And here is the part most haulers will not tell you: sometimes you should not hire us at all. The City of Temecula gives residents two free bulky item pickups a year through CR&R, two items per call, four items annually. If your job is one couch and a mattress and you can wait, use it. The details are on the city's trash and recycling page. Call us when the job is bigger than that, or when waiting is not an option.

Junk Removal Pricing Questions, Answered
What's included in the price?
Every flat-rate load includes loading labor, fuel, and landfill disposal fees. No stair charges, no fuel surcharges, no dump fees tacked on at the end. The quote is the total.
How is a load measured?
By trailer volume. A full load is 12 cubic yards in our 12ft by 8ft by 4ft dump trailer. Quarter, half, and three-quarter loads are priced proportionally at $195, $350, and $595.
Is there a minimum charge for junk removal in Temecula?
The quarter load at $195 is our minimum. Even for a single item, that is the floor. It covers the crew, the truck, the fuel, and the disposal in one number.
What does a quarter load actually hold?
3.5 cubic yards, which is roughly one and a half full-size pickup beds. In practice that is a sofa and a couple of chairs, or a mattress set and some boxes, or a small garage corner. If you are not sure, text a photo and we will tell you before we roll out.
Why is a full load cheaper per cubic yard than a quarter load?
Because the drive, the crew, and the trip to the landfill cost us the same whether the trailer comes back full or a quarter full. A quarter load works out to $50 per cubic yard. A full load at $595 is $42.50 per cubic yard. If you are close to the next size up, it is usually worth adding the extra junk.
Do you charge extra for stairs or heavy lifting?
No. The flat-rate price covers carrying items down stairs and out of tight spaces. That is the job, and it is already in the number.
Do you charge more for concrete, dirt, or other heavy material?
It can affect the price, yes. Landfills bill us by the ton, and dense material like concrete, dirt, and roofing tile weighs far more per cubic yard than furniture does. We tell you that on site before we start, not after we finish.
How much is a dumpster rental?
We rent 40-yard dumpsters only. Pricing typically runs $900 to $950 depending on material type and weight, with delivery, pickup, and disposal included for standard debris.
Can I get a price without an on-site visit?
Yes. Text a photo to (951) 837-8072 and we will give you a strong estimate before we ever roll out. The on-site number just confirms what the photo showed.
How does your price compare to Temecula's free bulky item pickup?
It does not, and we will say so. City of Temecula residents get two free bulky item pickups a year through CR&R, two items per call. If your job fits inside that and you can wait for the scheduled day, use it. Call us when the job is bigger than four items a year, when it includes things the city will not take, or when you need it gone now.
What cities do you serve at these prices?
Same flat-rate pricing across Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Wildomar, Winchester, French Valley, Lake Elsinore, and Canyon Lake. We also reach De Luz, Rainbow, and Fallbrook. If you are near the edge of that map, call and ask.
What are your hours?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. If you call or text outside those hours, send a photo and we will get back to you the next business day.
