Local Relevance
Murrieta Is a Fifteen-Minute Drive From Our Yard
Wild West Junk Removal is based on Niblick Road in Temecula, which puts most of Murrieta inside a twenty-minute run for us. That matters more than it sounds. A hauler coming down from Riverside or out from Corona is burning an hour each way, and that drive time ends up in your quote whether they itemize it or not. We are already in the neighborhood.
It also means we know how Murrieta actually works. The gate codes in Bear Creek and Greer Ranch. The fact that a Copper Canyon driveway can be too steep to back a trailer down, so we shuttle by hand. The HOA rules in Spencer's Crossing about how long a pile can sit at the curb. The stretch of Clinton Keith where the older ranch parcels have outbuildings full of thirty years of accumulation, and the newer tracts off Whitewood where the whole job is one sectional that will not fit down the stairs.
Murrieta's household trash is handled under a city franchise with Waste Management, and residents get a limited number of free bulky-item pickups each year with size and quantity limits attached. When your job fits inside that program, use it — we will tell you so on the phone. People call us when it does not fit: too much, too heavy, too soon, upstairs, behind a gate, or full of things the curb program will not touch.
Who You're Hiring
Meet Weston Molitor
When you call (951) 837-8072, you get Weston or someone standing next to him. Not a dispatcher three states away reading from a script.
Weston Molitor
Founder & Owner, Wild West Junk RemovalWeston started Wild West in 2021 with one trailer and a rule that has not changed since: nobody gets a bill bigger than the number they agreed to. He built the company in the Temecula Valley, and Murrieta has been core territory from the first month.
The thing people are actually nervous about isn't the junk. It's whether the price is going to move once we've got half their garage in the trailer. So we look at the job, we say the number out loud, surcharges and all, and that's the number. If you don't like it, we shake hands and leave. Nobody's ever been charged for us showing up.
And I'll tell you straight when the city's free bulky pickup is the cheaper answer. I'd rather lose the job and get the referral.
The Process
How a Murrieta Pickup Actually Goes
-
You text photos to (951) 837-8072
Stand back far enough that we can see the whole pile, not a close-up of one chair. If it is spread across a garage and a side yard, send both. We reply with a load fraction and a price range, usually within the hour during business hours.
-
We book a window that works for you
We run Monday through Saturday, 7am to 7pm — closed Sunday. Call early in the day and we have same-day slots most days in Murrieta, depending on where the trailer already is. If we cannot make today work, we will say so instead of leaving you waiting.
-
We look at the job and give you a firm number
On-site, before anything gets touched. That number is what you pay, surcharges included. If it is more than the photo estimate because there was a second pile in the shed, you hear it then — not on the invoice.
-
We load, sweep, and go
Two crew, our trailer, our dollies and straps. Tight side yards, long carries from a back yard, and taking furniture apart are all included in the volume price. Stairs carry a flat surcharge you will have heard before we start. We sweep the footprint before we pull out.
-
We sort it before it ever sees a landfill
Usable furniture and household goods go to donation. Electronics route to a California-certified e-waste handler. Metal goes to scrap. The landfill gets what is left, which is less than you would guess.
What We Take
Murrieta Junk Hauling, Item by Item
If it is not hazardous and two people can carry it, it goes in the trailer. These are the jobs we run most often in Murrieta — the full list is on our what we take and don't take page.
Furniture Removal
Sectionals, sleeper sofas, recliners, dressers, dining sets, bed frames. Murrieta turns over a lot of furniture — Camp Pendleton is thirty minutes out and military families move constantly. We disassemble on site if it will not fit through the door.
See furniture removal →Appliance & Refrigerator Removal
Fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, water heaters. Sealed refrigerant units are the ones curbside programs usually refuse. We handle them and route them for proper recovery.
See appliance removal →Garage Cleanouts
The single most common Murrieta call we get. Two-car garage, twenty years of boxes, a dead treadmill, and paint cans we cannot take. We sort as we load so the donatable stuff gets pulled out.
See garage cleanouts →Mattress Disposal
California runs a statewide mattress recycling program, and dumping one is not an option. Any size, any condition, routed through the proper channel.
See mattress removal →Hot Tub Removal
Murrieta backyards are full of spas that stopped working during the pandemic and never got dealt with. We cut, break down, and haul in one visit. Bring us a photo of the access path, not just the tub.
See hot tub removal →Yard Waste & Green Debris
Palm fronds, oak limbs, brush piles, and the mountain of trimmings that will not fit in the green bin. Common after Santa Ana wind events along the western hills.
See yard waste removal →Construction Debris
Drywall, lumber, tile, cabinets, broken concrete. Usually the tail end of a Murrieta kitchen or bath remodel where the contractor left the mess behind.
See construction debris →Estate & Whole-House Cleanouts
Clearing a parent's house is not a normal junk job and we do not treat it like one. We work slow enough that you can pull things back out of the pile.
See estate cleanouts →Commercial & Tenant Turnover
Murrieta property managers use us on turnovers. Open the gate, we do the rest, invoice follows. No need for anyone to stand there.
See commercial junk removal →What We Cannot Take — No Exceptions
Paint, solvents, motor oil, pesticides, pool chemicals, propane tanks, car batteries, asbestos, and biohazardous or medical waste. These are household hazardous waste and they have to go through the county's HHW program, not a junk trailer. Riverside County runs free HHW collection events and permanent drop-off sites for residents — check Riverside County Department of Waste Resources for the current schedule. Also check CalRecycle for statewide rules on e-waste, mattresses, and paint.
Transparent Pricing
Murrieta Junk Removal Pricing
We price by volume — how much room your stuff takes up in the trailer. Fuel, labor, and dump fees are already in these numbers. A short list of flat surcharges applies to a few specific situations, and they are published below rather than added at the end. Concrete, roofing, and dirt are quoted as separate custom loads rather than by trailer fraction, since disposal on those is billed to us by the ton.

What can change the price
- Stairs
- $150 on loads up to one-half truck load, $300 on loads over one-half truck load, for carrying items up or down stairs. Tell us the floor level when you call and the figure goes in your written estimate.
- Appliances
- $30 each. Covers refrigerant handling and the separate disposal stream refrigerators, freezers and AC units legally require.
- Mattresses
- $15 each, any size.
- Extra loading time
- A full load includes one hour of loading. Beyond that hour, $75 per hour per crew member.
- What a full load means
- 12 cubic yards in a 12ft x 8ft x 4ft dump trailer, loaded by a two-person crew.
What's already in that price
Labor, loading, the drive, dump and recycling fees, and a broom sweep of the area we worked in. There is no upcharge for a long carry from a back yard or for taking things apart, and no fuel or weight surcharge. The four items above are the only things that move the number, and you hear them on site before we touch anything. Full rate card on our junk removal pricing page.
What a load fraction actually looks like
A quarter load (3 cu yd) is a washer and dryer plus a few boxes, or one sofa. A half load (6 cu yd) is a bedroom's worth of furniture, or a solid but not overstuffed one-car garage. A full load (12 cu yd) is a packed two-car garage or several rooms of an estate. Text photos and we will tell you which bracket you are in before we drive out. Larger jobs run as multiple loads at the same rates.
Quarter load is our minimum. If you have a single item that fits in a pickup bed, the quarter-load rate is still what applies — the truck, the crew, and the disposal fee cost the same whether the trailer leaves half full or a quarter full.

Why Diversion Matters Here
Where Your Murrieta Junk Actually Goes
California cities operate under state diversion mandates — Murrieta has to keep a substantial share of its waste stream out of landfills or face penalties, which is part of why the city requires mandatory trash service in the first place. We are a small part of that math, but we take it seriously because it is also cheaper. Diverted material costs less to dispose of than landfill tonnage, and that shows up in the price we quote you.
-
Donation first
Usable furniture, appliances, and household goods go to local donation centers, including Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations. Ask and we will route it to a specific charity you support.
-
Certified e-waste handling
TVs, monitors, printers, and computers go to California-certified recyclers under the state e-waste program. Never the landfill, never a dumpster.
-
Metal and green waste separated
Scrap goes to a metal recycler. Clean green waste goes to composting channels rather than straight to a transfer station.
-
Hazardous waste redirected, not dumped
If you have paint or chemicals in the pile, we set them aside and point you to the county HHW program instead of quietly burying them in the load.
Five years later, same phone number, same rule about the price not moving.

Questions
Murrieta Junk Removal FAQ
Wild West Junk Removal prices Murrieta jobs by volume, not by the hour and not by weight. A quarter load is 3 cubic yards at $195 and is the minimum pickup. A half load is 6 cubic yards at $350, a three-quarter load is 9 cubic yards at $495, and a full load is 12 cubic yards at $595. Fuel, labor, and disposal fees are included in those prices. Text photos to (951) 837-8072 and Wild West will name the bracket before the truck rolls.
Wild West Junk Removal is a family-owned junk removal company serving Murrieta, California. Weston Molitor founded it in 2021, and it operates out of 41713 Niblick Rd in Temecula, roughly fifteen minutes from Murrieta. The crew hauls furniture, appliances, mattresses, hot tubs, yard waste, construction debris, and electronics Monday through Saturday, 7am to 7pm — closed Sunday. Phone and text: (951) 837-8072.
Wild West Junk Removal is open Monday through Saturday, 7am to 7pm — closed Sunday. Same-day pickup in Murrieta is available most days when the call or text to (951) 837-8072 comes in early in the day, depending on where the trailer already is. When same-day will not work, Wild West says so directly and books the next open slot.
A single sofa in Murrieta falls under Wild West Junk Removal's quarter-load minimum: 3 cubic yards for $195. That rate applies even to an item that would fit in a pickup bed, because the truck, the two-person crew, and the disposal fee cost the same whether the trailer leaves a quarter full or half full. Mattresses add $15 each and appliances add $30 each. Text a photo to (951) 837-8072 for a firm number.
The cheapest option in Murrieta is the city's free bulky item pickup through Waste Management, which residents schedule at least 24 hours before their regular collection day, subject to size, quantity, and category limits, with everything staged at the curb by the resident. When a job exceeds those limits, or the items sit upstairs, behind a gate, or in a category the curb program excludes, Wild West Junk Removal starts at $195 for a 3-cubic-yard quarter load with all labor included.
Sometimes, and Wild West Junk Removal will say so on the phone rather than take the job. Murrieta residents get a limited number of free bulky item pickups per year through Waste Management under the city trash franchise, scheduled at least 24 hours before the regular collection day. Size and quantity limits apply, some categories are excluded, and the resident stages everything at the curb. People hire Wild West when the job is too big, too heavy, too soon, upstairs, or full of items the curb program will not take.
Murrieta residents have three realistic options for an old refrigerator. An appliance retailer may haul the old unit away on delivery of the new one. Murrieta's curbside bulky item program through Waste Management commonly excludes sealed refrigerant units. Wild West Junk Removal takes refrigerators, freezers, and window AC units from anywhere on the property starting at the $195 quarter-load rate plus a flat $30 appliance surcharge, and routes them for refrigerant recovery and metal recycling.
California runs a statewide mattress recycling program, so a mattress cannot simply be dumped or left at a Murrieta curb outside a scheduled bulky pickup. Wild West Junk Removal takes mattresses and box springs of any size and condition out of Murrieta homes and routes them through the proper recycling channel. Mattresses carry a flat $15 surcharge each on top of the load rate.
Garage cleanouts are the most common Murrieta job Wild West Junk Removal runs, and they are priced by volume. A solid but not overstuffed one-car garage is usually a 6-cubic-yard half load at $350. A packed two-car garage is typically a 12-cubic-yard full load at $595. Each full load includes one hour of loading with a two-person crew. Text photos to (951) 837-8072 for the bracket.
Wild West Junk Removal prices Murrieta estate and whole-house cleanouts by volume like any other job, sizing them from photos or a walk-through. Most run a three-quarter load at 9 cubic yards for $495 or a full load at 12 cubic yards for $595, and larger homes are handled as multiple loads at the same rates. On estate jobs the crew works slowly enough that family members can pull items back out of the pile before they are loaded.
One full load for Wild West Junk Removal is 12 cubic yards, measured as a 12ft x 8ft x 4ft dump trailer loaded by a two-person crew. In practice that is a packed two-car garage or several rooms of a house. A quarter load is 3 cubic yards, a half load is 6 cubic yards, and a three-quarter load is 9 cubic yards. Murrieta jobs larger than one full load run as multiple loads at the same rates.
Wild West Junk Removal publishes four flat surcharges and adds nothing else to a Murrieta quote. Stair carry is $150 on loads up to one-half truck load and $300 on loads over one-half truck load. Appliances are $30 each. Mattresses are $15 each, any size. A full load includes one hour of loading with a two-person crew, and beyond that hour it is $75 per hour per crew member. Every figure is stated on site before anything is loaded.
Wild West Junk Removal charges no fuel surcharge, no weight fee, no disassembly fee, and no add-on for a long carry or a tight side yard in Murrieta. Steep Copper Canyon driveways and narrow side yards are covered by the volume price. Stairs do carry a flat surcharge of $150 on loads up to one-half truck load and $300 above that, appliances add $30 each, and mattresses add $15 each. Every surcharge is quoted before anything is touched.
Wild West Junk Removal removes furniture and household junk from upstairs units, lofts, and second-floor apartments in Murrieta. Stairs carry a flat surcharge of $150 on loads up to one-half truck load and $300 on loads over one-half truck load. Telling the crew the floor level when booking puts that figure in the written estimate instead of on the final invoice.
Wild West Junk Removal cannot take household hazardous waste out of Murrieta or anywhere else: paint, solvents, motor oil, pesticides, pool chemicals, propane tanks, car batteries, asbestos, and any biohazardous or medical waste. Those have to go through Riverside County's household hazardous waste program. Everything else that is not hazardous and that two people can carry, Wild West takes.
Murrieta residents take paint, solvents, motor oil, pesticides, pool chemicals, propane tanks, car batteries, and medical waste to Riverside County's household hazardous waste program, which runs free collection events and permanent drop-off sites for residents. No junk removal company, Wild West Junk Removal included, can legally haul those materials in a trailer. When hazardous items turn up mid-job, the Wild West crew sets them aside and points to the county program.
Wild West Junk Removal hauls refrigerators, freezers, window AC units, and water heaters out of Murrieta homes and routes them for proper refrigerant recovery and metal recycling. Sealed refrigerant units are one of the categories curbside bulky programs usually refuse, which is why Murrieta calls about them are common. Appliances carry a flat $30 surcharge covering that handling, quoted with everything else before work starts.
Wild West Junk Removal collects TVs, monitors, printers, computers, and other e-waste from Murrieta homes and businesses and delivers them to California-certified electronics recyclers under the state e-waste program, never to a landfill or a dumpster. Electronics are billed as part of the load volume, with no separate e-waste fee added.
Wild West Junk Removal sends usable furniture and household goods from Murrieta to local donation centers, electronics to California-certified e-waste recyclers, metal to scrap, and clean green waste to composting. Diverted material costs less to dispose of than landfill tonnage, so keeping a load green helps the quote. Customers can ask to have specific items routed to a school, church, or charity they support.
A dumpster fits a Murrieta project that generates debris over several days and where the homeowner or contractor does the loading. Junk removal fits a pile that already exists and needs to be gone the same day, because the Wild West Junk Removal crew carries everything out and loading is included in the volume price. Wild West offers both; call (951) 837-8072 to compare the two for a specific Murrieta address.
Wild West Junk Removal covers all of Murrieta, California, including Bear Creek, La Cresta, Copper Canyon, Greer Ranch, The Colony, Alta Murrieta, California Oaks, Murrieta Oaks, Historic Old Town Murrieta, Mapleton, Murrieta Hot Springs, Spencer's Crossing, Golden City, and the newer tracts off Whitewood and Clinton Keith. The same crew serves Temecula, Menifee, Wildomar, Winchester, French Valley, Lake Elsinore, and Canyon Lake.
Murrieta property managers and landlords regularly give Wild West Junk Removal gate access and are not on site at all; the crew texts photos when the job is done and the invoice follows. For residential jobs Wild West prefers someone reachable by phone in case a question comes up about what stays and what goes.
Wild West Junk Removal handles Murrieta tenant turnovers, office cleanouts, retail fixture removal, post-remodel construction debris, and storage unit cleanouts. The same volume pricing applies, and large multi-day jobs get a custom quote. Call (951) 837-8072 and ask for Weston.
